A website I put together for the United Students Against Sweatshops is getting some attention today from ABC News.  It comes up in their news blotter, but here’s a direct link to the story: Jennifer Loves Sweatshops? Young Activists Blast Starlet

The website is a cheeky jab at Jennifer Love Hewitt for being a spokesperson for Hanes, a company accused of exploiting workers in overseas factories.

I hope the media pressure will convince JLH to question Hanes on its labor practices.  If she is truly in solidarity with women, she should consider the well-being of her sisters around the world.  And demand that Hanes do the same.
