Travels so far

Well, my friend Dalia and I left our jobs and apartment in Washington DC to travel around the world for a spell. Plans have evolved as we’ve been going, but here’s an itinerary I put together.

Then, it will probabaly be back to the States for me and who knows where for Dalia.

In California, we met up with William in the SF Bay area. We visited Berkeley and ate at Chez Panisse among other activities and then we headed up to Shelter Cove, CA. There we met up with our friends Anne and Keith and their superdog, Juna. Here’s the set of pictures on Flickr that covers that time period. (There’s actually a bunch more photos to include in that. I’ll try, but you may have to wait)

Afterwards we drove down US-1 to Los Angeles, stopping off at Big Sur for a night of camping at Andrew Molera State Park.  In Los Angeles we saw my family before taking off for France.  The family portrait

In France we attended a wedding and then travelled around the South of the country in the company (and car) of Dalia’s good friend, Marion.  There’s a Flickr set called Le France that covers that.

I’ll be putting more titles and descriptions on those pages so you can have an idea of what’s going on in those photos.
