I like the paintings of Moki (click the woody blob, then the walking stick).  The combination of natural landscapes and oversized humans and/or animals is similar to things I’ve envisioned and drawn.  I thought that his black figures with white pupil-less eyes break the surrealistic illusion in a lot of the pieces.  The one where it is reflected in the pool of water and the family (perhaps?) of them under the willow trees work well because of their subtlety.  I really wanted to like the one where the giant black figure sits on a concrete bunker in the woods, but it’s just too jarring of a juxtaposition for me to buy into the whole conceit.  Still, it’s good stuff.
